"We've been a bit quiet on social media over the last couple of months. Just had loads going on, loads of work, and of course, prepping our race cars for the annual 2cv 24hr race.
This year was a better result than last year, where 3 engines failed after a promising start inc pole position and fastest lap. We now know why they failed. You never stop learning.
This year, we had pole position and fastest lap again and most importantly, we converted the hard work into a win.
This is now the 7th 24hr win for team Lion in 10 years. I think we have proved we know our stuff.
We did have one engine failure, which looks like a piston has exploded. The autopsy hasn't been done yet but it looks most likely.
So now we look towards next year, improving our set up and team work.
Thank you to everyone involved either on the cars or other areas of the team.
