London - 16th Annual London - Brighton run

Around 220 cars made the trip from Esher College to Hove Park on Sunday 28th May 2000. The theme was 'The Circus' so there were drivers and passengers dressed as clowns, acrobats, strong men, trapeze artists etc and some of the cars were decorated accordingly.
The event was organised by the South Downs Escargots, a local group within 2CVGB and as usual went without a hitch. The weather was decidedly windy but the heavy rain which other areas suffered only made an occasional appearance!
