2018 2CV CHAMPIONSHIP CADWELL PARK ROUNDS 1, 2 AND 3
The new season had a few familiar faces returning to 2CV racing after a year or two off from racing. This included multiple 2CV champion Pete Sparrow and regular podium finisher Tom Perry to mix things up in the sprint and enduro races over the weekend at Cadwell Park…Pete Sparrow proved unbeatable in both 2CV Sprint races at Cadwell Park, but it was Gadget Racing who took the top step on the podium in the two hour Enduro, with Lien Davies and Tom Perry victorious. Sandro Proietti and Luca Proietti came in second just ahead of Nick Crispin who narrowly beat Pete Sparrow to the line by 0.013 second to take third place.
In the sprint races
Race 1 Pete Sparrow got his first win of the season. Lien Davies was in second place and Sandro Proietti was on the third step of the podium as Nick Crispin just missed out on a podium finish.
Race 2 Sparrow held on for win number two from Luca Proietti, while Alec Graham snatched third place on the last lap from Tom Perry.
