Valentines Day Convoy - Photos by Chris
A Valentines Day meeting with the Big Guns.
Report and Photos by Peter Lee
15th February 2015
We met with Pompey Puddleducks and other tinsnail groups at a car park on top of Portsdown Hill
Free iced biscuit and red roses kindly provided by Pompey Puddleducks but it was not really picnic weather so we convoyed to Fort Nelson where there are superb facilities and informative displays of armoury hardware.
Probably the shortest convoy ever at 3.5 miles but the sun burst forth for a while and the roof had its first opening of this year.

Some people took advantage of the museum tour and the café
Well worth the effort
Roses are red, Violets are blue, Saddam had a big gun And it’s pointing at you
The less hardy dispersed after a very pleasant excursion with like minded people and we even arranged our seat restoration with Matt of the Softops.
Thanks to everyone for organising it.
See you all when the weather warms up a tad!
