Goodwood Festival of Speed
Goodwood House, set in the rolling Sussex countryside hosted a racing car sculpture on the drive capturing the imaginative ambience of formula one racing.
Goodwood, known as 'Glorious Goodwood', lived up to its name for the Festival of Speed 2002. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere warm and friendly as we were treated to a wonderful motoring weekend.
Surrey Madhatter, Dave Shove, was one of the people who were keen to establish this event some fifteen years ago and it is now a much loved and well established event.
There is also a 'revival' race meeting (see what's on) where historic cars compete on the circuit.
