Les Fils de Vitesse Annual New Year's Day Barbecue at the Hayling Seaside Railway, Hayling Island.

Twenty-three people actually turned up for the barbecue and the railway staff even had the steam engine fired up. What power the call of the 2cv has!!

After a few coffees and watching the wooden breakwater marching up the beach by itself we decided to repair to the Yew Tree Inn and sadly exchange the undoubted delights of barbecuing in a gale and freezing cold horizontal rain and salt water spray for a log fire and an excellent pub lunch.
