New Year's Day Barbecue - at the Hollycombe Steam Collection museum

The weather forecast wasn't brilliant but, as usual, we set off in the rain.
The further North we got the less the damp got and we arrived at Hollycombe in a dry window.
The gazebo was already erected over the bbq's and the doors open to the cafe area. Also the toilets and hot water boiler were functioning.
We were a bit short on regular attendants but new people arrived to help fill the gaps.
The 3 bbq's created so much heat that the gazebo pumped out steam from the roof, appropriate for a steam museum! Even the local sheep, goats and donkeys expressed an interest.
This was probably the first NYD bbq I have attended in damp conditions that we could cook, transfer the food and eat in a completely dry atmosphere.
10/10
